Big changes here at Scott & Stapleton as our team expands with our business.
Here at Scott & Stapleton we are excited this week to welcome 3 newbies to our office. Due to our ever expanding business we have had to draft in new recruits to various different departments to maintain our extremely high customer service standards and drive our business forward.
Working left to right, we start with Leanne. She has been brought in to work alongside Stuart & Annette in our Block Management Department. This is the area of our business that has exploded. We have taken on loads of new units and developments and our fresh approach to Block Management really seems to be striking a chord with freeholders & lessees alike. Stuart has fully engrossed himself in these new developments with lots of site visits and residents meetings and with our fully inclusive and transparent way of dealing with the management of a development he has certainly been a breath of fresh air for leaseholders that have previously felt ignored.
Leanne is new to Block Management after spending many years in banking travelling the country and abroad. She fancied having a bit of a change and something a bit more local, currently living on Canvey Island with her 2 small children she freely admits that the only one that really listens to her in the house is the dog so working here and bossing Stuart & Annette around really appealed!
In the middle of the bunch, like a rose between 2 thorns is Paul. Paul has joined to take charge of our Property Management Department. This is an extremely busy part of our business with hundreds of properties currently under management. He will be in charge of our property managers, inspectors and accounts department to ensure that any issues are dealt with swiftly and correctly.
Nabbing Paul has been a bit of a coup for us. With an unbelievable 23 years experience of property management there is no scenario that he hasn’t already seen and he is a well needed calming influence on what can sometimes be a very stressful time for tenants and landlords. Paul also lives locally and has a young family with 2 daughters of 4 and just 7 months so finds dealing with peoples problems with rental properties a relaxation compared to home life!
Last but in no means least is Elle. She has been brought in to replace Alyson who has sadly left her role as a property inspector. Elle’s responsibilities will include the booking and carry out of our periodic inspections of our rental portfolio. This is a vital link and very important role ensuring that tenants are happy in our properties, making sure that any issues are noted as early as possible and then dealt with and communicating with landlords that everything is OK with their properties. Her role will predominately be on the road meeting tenants but it is already clear that she will be a valued and well liked member of our team.
Elle lives nearby in Wakering and has 2 children of 8 and 4. She has previously worked in large international companies so looks forward to working in a small intimate local business where she can feel part of our family and really see the value in what she does and how the business is run.
As I have said it is an extremely exciting time here at Scott & Stapleton and hard to believe it was just 5 short years since we moved offices to our Broadway position. Back then we had some big plans and with just 6 members of staff we set about shaking things up in the Leigh property market. We now have an amazing 17 members of staff in our brilliant bespoke offices dealing with every type of property need from sales, lettings, holiday lettings, management, block management, commercial, development. It really has become the one stop shop for anyones property needs and it only seems that this will continue and grow further in the future.
